Zappos.com plans to produce 50,000 videos for it’s sales pages next year (see more about this here at newteevee.com). Two things to take away from this Amazon.com acquired online store:
1) Clearly their research shows online video is an essential addition to their sales pages that engages potential customers and increases conversions.
2) They realize that setting in place a system of many videos enables them to produce videos incredibly cheaply.
